The Emerald Gecko is the brainchild of Benny and Lynda who gave up their city lives to make the fantastic Andaman Islands their home. For the past 7 years they have nurtured their first project, a mid-range resort called "The Wild Orchid" into a tremendous success. It was during this period that they interacted with many travelers from all across the globe and saw that there was no where on Havelock that catered to the conscious budget traveler who not only wanted affordable accommodation but also a bit of comfort and pampering.
